Celeste Marie Wilson writes songs the way Texas storytellers always have: with a wink, a little heartache, and a whole lot of truth. The Montgomery, Texas singer-songwriter blends Texas country and Americana with a warm, sultry voice and a quick wit that turns a room of strangers into friends by the second song.
Her roots run deep. Celeste Marie is the eighth generation of her family tied to ranch land in Comanche and Brady, and she carries the name of her great-grandmother Jessie Marie, a poet and piano teacher who dreamed of singing on the Grand Ole Opry. That family history runs all through her debut album, Southern American Princess, released September 18, 2026 on Little Dipper Record Company and distributed by Select-O-Hits through The Orchard. The album moves from front-porch storytelling on "Marie," the true 1930s love story of her great-grandparents, to the swampy blues groove of "Black Gold" and the honky-tonk sass of "Texas Cowboy."
The lead single, "What Else Could I Need," is climbing the Texas Regional Radio Charts, and "Jesus, Tequila and Whiskey" earned her first national chart entry on MusicRow's CountryBreakout chart. She won a Josie Music Award for Story Enhanced Video of the Year for "If I Sin For You." In 2026 she was named a Women Songwriters Hall of Fame Ambassador, performing on the main stage at the Washington, D.C. gala, and was an International Songwriting Competition semi-finalist.
Celeste Marie grew up in the saddle, riding nearly every day and competing on the Sam Houston State equestrian team. That life shows up in songs like "Jump and Fall," and it makes her right at home at a rodeo or county fair.
She performs solo or with a full band, and her clean, crowd-friendly set fits listening rooms, festival stages and dance halls alike.
