Far West Talent & Promotions (“Far West Talent,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

• Your name, stage or band name, and the role you play in the act
• Email address and phone number
• City and state, genre, band size, and biography or press material
• Links to your music, video, social, or press kit
• Photos, riders, stage plots, input lists, or other files you upload
• Booking, contract, rider, and W-9 details when you submit those forms
• Basic technical data such as your IP address, recorded with form submissions to help us prevent spam

How We Use It

We use the information you provide to:

• Review artist, venue, festival, and partner submissions
• Contact you about bookings, availability, contracts, and events
• Build and maintain public roster, artist, venue, and festival profiles for those we represent or work with
• Send you text messages about available booking dates, only if you have expressly opted in
• Keep internal records of the shows, contracts, and communications we handle on your behalf

Text Messaging

Far West Talent operates an opt-in SMS program that notifies artists about open booking dates in their area. Participation is entirely voluntary.

• You are only enrolled if you check the SMS consent box on our artist submission form, or give us your express permission another way that we record on your file.
• The consent box is never checked by default, and consent is never a condition of representation, booking, or being listed on our site.
• Message frequency varies and depends on how many booking dates open up near you.
• Message and data rates may apply, according to the plan you have with your mobile carrier.
• You can leave the program at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below.

We do not share or sell mobile opt-in information or phone numbers to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information collected through our SMS program is shared with anyone outside Far West Talent for those purposes under any circumstances.

Who We Share With

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when necessary:

• With venues, promoters, and buyers when we are actively pitching or booking you, and only the material relevant to that booking.
• Publicly on this site for the profile content of artists, venues, festivals, and partners we list. Contact emails and phone numbers you give us for internal use are not published on public profiles.
• With service providers that operate parts of this site on our behalf, such as our web host, our email provider, our mapping and geocoding provider, and our SMS carrier. They may only use the data to provide that service to us.
• When legally required, such as in response to a valid legal request.

Your Choices

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message, or ask us to turn off SMS on your file.
• Email: ask us to stop contacting you and we will honor it.
• Corrections and removal: contact us to update your information or to have your submission and profile removed from our site.

Data Retention & Security

We keep submissions and booking records for as long as we need them for the working relationship and for our business records. Uploaded files and submission data are stored on our web host with access limited to Far West Talent staff accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

This site is intended for those conducting music industry business and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes to the SMS program will not be applied retroactively to consent you have already given.
