The Black Lillies were a Knoxville Americana band founded in 2009 by Cruz Contreras, blending country, rock, folk and Appalachian mountain music -- five records, European tours and 40 Grand Ole Opry appearances before their final show on 31 December 2019. Contreras has led a solo career since.
