One of Denton's premier songwriters, setting a gruff, grimy style of rock and roll against an unexpectedly angelic voice and heartfelt writing. Originally from Arlington, he studied advertising at Texas Tech and formed his first band, an alt-country outfit, in Levelland. Prolific ever since: his tenth LP 'Just Like A Dream' arrived in April 2024, recorded with country-rock producer David Barbe of Drive-By Truckers and Deerhunter fame, pairing the music of his teenage years with the stories of his adulthood.
