Heidi Holton is a solo acoustic blues and Americana singer-songwriter who plays slide and fingerpicked Gibson, and who describes her own sound as Southern Gothic. Her albums include Mockingbird Blues, Why Mama Cries, Let Me Bleed and Black Strap Molasses, with a new record due in early 2027. Rory Block has produced her work and toured with her, and Jorma Kaukonen mentored her on guitar; she plays Fur Peace Ranch regularly. She appeared on WoodSongs episode 1047 with Abbie Gardner, and has opened for Roy Bookbinder and Tommy Talton. She says she plays 150 to 200 dates a year, and works west as far as southern Colorado, with past stops at Blo Back Gallery in Pueblo and Healthy Rhythm in Montrose.
