San Antonio guitarist and singer Ruben V, born Ruben Gerardo Vela in Corpus Christi, working a blend of blues, Latin, soul and rock. Self-taught and on the road from the age of 15, he has released eight solo albums, averages over 120 shows a year, and has been named San Antonio's Best Guitar Player four times. He has shared stages with Gatemouth Brown, George Thorogood and Delbert McClinton.
