Alpine singer-songwriter, originally from San Antonio, who plays guitar and harmonica and has been performing for around fifteen years after a lifetime in bands. He writes about "people, relationships, and characters from around Texas," drawing especially on West Texas and New Mexico, and fills out his sets with the Beatles, James Taylor, Van Morrison, John Prine, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. He and his wife Kathleen, an Alpine artist, managed a ranchito near Chinati Hot Springs for sixteen years before moving into town. He holds a long-running monthly slot at the Holland Hotel and has played the Starlight Theatre in Terlingua, Blue Mountain Bistro in Fort Davis, the Thirsty Goat at Lajitas, and Viva Big Bend.
