Widely called the godfather of modern Oklahoma folk. Moved to Norman in 1996 and has played full-time for two decades in alt-country and roots, with a background in swing jazz. Produced John Fullbright's first album and taught guitar to a nine-year-old Parker Millsap; has played onstage with Willie Nelson and appeared with Hayes Carll on The Tonight Show.
