My name is Charlie Watson and I am freelance trumpet player based in New York City. I recently completed my master's in Jazz Trumpet Performance at New England Conservatory and have experience performing in jazz, pop, rock, funk, R&B, musical theater, and commercial settings. My background includes touring, recording sessions, and wedding/corporate entertainment. I'm comfortable reading charts and improvising, as well as learning music by ear. I'm available for local performances and travel engagements, with advance notice preferred.
