One of Denton's premier songwriters, setting a gruff, grimy style of rock and roll against an unexpectedly angelic voice and heartfelt writing. Originally from Arlington, he studied advertising at Texas Tech and formed his first band, an alt-country outfit, in Levelland. Prolific ever since: his tenth LP 'Just Like A Dream' arrived in April 2024, recorded with country-rock producer David Barbe of Drive-By Truckers and Deerhunter fame, pairing the music of his teenage years with the stories of his adulthood.

My goals for this band are to get in front of new audiences in the region of TX, LA, MS but I am also interested in nationwide touring and potentially international touring. I listed the primary genre as rock, but it is almost equally blues. I describe our sound as "electric blues rock'nroll". I am especially interested in festival bookings.

Way out in far West Texas, seven desert daughters were said to have risen from the cracked earth itself. Legend claims they wandered the Big Bend righting petty injustices with rhythm, harmony, and a beat that bent the wind until the whole desert whispered their name-The Vagenda, like a spell that could only be cast by women who knew their own power. Hidden Kitten’s voice split lies in half, Sick Lick’s lightning strung guitar exposed the truth, Hot Pocket’s rhythms steadied the land, Pussy Willow’s bass shook secrets loose, Mystic Rambler summoned visions with her cajón, and Hatchet Wound’s war drum sent cowards running while her dance rewrote the night. Behind them moved Hot Mike, the silent man in black, tuning their echoes like a guardian of the sand. Featuring vocals powerful enough to raise the dead and harmonies smooth enough to tame a dust storm, The Vagenda brews a fierce blend of classic and alternative rock, pop, and whatever else the desert demands. Their stacked percussion section drives the message home: Get ready-The Vagenda is coming for you.
